K2 Energy Solutions Selected as a Demonstrator at the Marine Corps' E2C Energy and Technology Conference 2015
HENDERSON, Nev., June 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- K2 Energy Solutions, Inc. today announced their participation in Expeditionary Energy Concepts (E2C) 2015, the annual technology demonstration conference held by the United States Marine Corps. At E2C, select companies are invited by the Marine Corps to demonstrate technologies that can address current material and non-material capability gaps identified by the Corps. K2 will be attending as an American battery manufacturer alongside other prominent technology suppliers.

K2 will be demonstrating the Expandable Modular Energy Storage Battery (EMESB), their latest portable UPS battery. K2's innovative Lithium-Ion battery is light-weight, long-lasting, environmentally sustainable, boasts superior power and has significant safety advantages over the typical oxide based lithium-ion chemistries. The EMESB is a 2.2 kW fully portable energy storage system. It features an intelligent interface with an interactive touchscreen and inter-battery communications. The design allows for any number of EMESBs to be combined together, and K2's proprietary battery management technology equalizes the state of charge across all batteries, allowing for maximum efficiency and power delivery. This pack also incorporates K2's new advanced energy cell which is optimized for energy density and for performance in challenging environments.
