CINCINNATI, Nov. 5, 2010 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Associates of Kroger's Cincinnati/Dayton Division, an affiliate of The Kroger Co. (NYSE: KR), have ratified an agreement with the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) Local 75.
The collective bargaining agreement covers 12,247 associates working in 76 stores and 39 fuel centers in the Cincinnati region, including Northern Kentucky.
"Kroger and the UFCW worked together to reach an agreement that provides our associates the best total compensation package in our industry in Cincinnati," said Geoff Covert, President of Kroger's Cincinnati/Dayton division. The three-year agreement provides good wages, high-quality affordable health care and a pension for associates when they retire.
