COLUMBUS, Ohio, May 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Every party has to end sometime, and so White Castle is announcing "Last call!" on National Hamburger Month and its 24/7 Slider-bration™. It's not too late to join in the fun and make a memorable moment with a sack of Original Sliders.
For the last days of May, White Castle will continue its 24 hours a day, seven days a week, two-hour long Slider-brations™. During that time, a Castle somewhere across the country will offer the Original Slider® for just 25 cents, limit 10 per customer.
"More than 20 years ago we created a month-long tribute to the hamburger we all crave so much, the Original Slider, and we've been Slider-brating ever since," Jamie Richardson, vice president of White Castle, said. "We hope Craver Nation continues to create memorable moments with us as we close out National Hamburger Month."
Slider-bration™ kicked off at 12:01 a.m. on May 1 with a "blue carpet event" in Columbus and continues for 744 hours, the entire month of May, until the final Slider-bration™ in St. Louis. During May, White Castle hosted nearly 400 Slider-brations in all 12 regions. During the two-hour events, Cravers consumed more than 200,000 Original Sliders.
Sliderbration.com was created especially for National Hamburger Month so Cravers can find when and where the next celebration begins. The website offers a countdown clock for all Slider-bration™ events happening within the next 24-hours.
