Longitude Health Appoints Dr. Vishal Agrawal as CEO to Accelerate Growth and Innovation for U.S. Health Care

Health system-led collaborative initiative builds on first-year momentum with a new leader to expand proven solutions, advance interoperability and drive systemwide transformation

WASHINGTON, Oct. 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Longitude Health, a first-of-its-kind collaborative initiative founded by leading not-for-profit health systems, today announced the appointment of Vishal Agrawal, M.D., as Chief Executive Officer.

Dr. Agrawal is a physician, scientist, strategist, and operator with more than 25 years of leadership experience across payor, provider, technology, and financial sectors. Most recently, he served as the Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer at Humana, and previously held senior roles at The Carlyle Group, Ciox Health, Harris Healthcare Solutions, and McKinsey & Company. In this role, he will combine his deep expertise with a bold vision to guide Longitude Health into its next phase of growth.

As he steps into the role, Dr. Agrawal outlined his vision for how Longitude Health can accelerate its impact.

Dr. Agrawal succeeds Interim CEO Brett Moraski, who stepped in following founding CEO Paul Mango's passing in January 2025.

Vishal Agrawal, M.D. joins Longitude Health from Humana, where he served as the Chief Strategy and Corporate Development Officer. He has over 25 years of extensive health care services technology, business development and acquisition leadership experience. Dr. Agrawal previously worked for The Carlyle Group L.P., having held the position of Senior Advisor from October 2017 to December 2018. In his capacity of Senior Advisor, Dr. Agrawal reviewed potential health care services and technology acquisitions with the company's investment team. Previously, Dr. Agrawal was President and Chief Growth Officer of Ciox Health, the largest health information exchange and release of information services organization in the U.S. As President of Harris Healthcare Solutions, Dr. Agrawal successfully grew a global health care IT business that developed advanced technologies to drive physician experience, interoperability and business intelligence across the continuum of care. Earlier in his career, Dr. Agrawal spent 12 years with McKinsey & Company, where he was elected Partner and led both the North American Healthcare Systems & Services Practice and the Private Equity & Principal Investors Practice.

He has a bachelor's degree in molecular biophysics and biochemistry, a master's degree in molecular biophysics, and a Doctor of Medicine degree, all from Yale University.
