MUMBAI, Baltimore, May 31, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Pharma Major Lupin Limited announced a partnership between its American subsidiary, Lupin Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Lupin) and Albertsons Companies, one of the largest food and drug retailers in the United States. Albertsons has agreed to exclusively provide Lupin's InspiraChamber™, a valved holding chamber for the enhanced delivery of inhaled aerosol therapies, to patients in its over 1,700 pharmacies in 35 states, including DC.

Lupin's InspiraChamber™ helps patients who are being treated for breathing conditions such as asthma, allergies, or other lung impairments, more effectively use their inhalers by creating "space" between the mouth and the aerosolized medicine inhaler—which is why these devices are often called "spacers." This space helps the prescribed medicine move more easily into the lungs and maximizes its effects.
