Mr. Morganroth has excelled in private practice with his law firm, Morganroth & Morganroth PLLC, in Birmingham, Michigan, since 1955. Specializing in criminal and civil litigation, he holds significant expertise in complex commercial litigation, white collar criminal matters; constitutional litigation, tax and bankruptcy litigation, intellectual property matters, business, employment and labor matters, personal injury, civil rights and discriminations matters, product liability and professional malpractice. In 1989, Mr. Morganroth proudly opened a branch office in New York City.

Over the years, he has been continually motivated by his ever-present desire to solve problems. Alongside his primary career responsibilities, Mr. Morganroth has served as an entertainment industry consultant for numerous films and is presently working on a film titled "Beach Tree Forest," as well as a six part mini-series for E! Entertainment Television, LLC. He has further offered his expertise as a speaker and lecturer in the field, appearing at various universities and law schools throughout the country. Since 2014, Mr. Morganroth has been active as a trustee of the College of Law at Michigan State University.
In order to remain aware of developments in his field, Mr. Morganroth maintains his affiliation with a number of professional organizations. His present memberships include the American Association for Justice, the Federal Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the American Judicature Society and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Morganroth has also remained involved with the State Bar of Michigan, the Oakland County Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Supreme Court Historical Society.
Mr. Morganroth joined Michigan State University after receiving his honorable discharge from the U.S. Navy in 1950. He was accepted into law school after 3 years of undergraduate study and earned a Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Detroit College of Law, now known as the College of Law at Michigan State University, in 1954. Subsequently, he has been licensed to practice in the states of Michigan and New York. Mr. Morganroth has been admitted to represent cases before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Michigan, the Northern District of Ohio, the Eastern District of New York, and the District of Columbia as well as the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second, Fourth, Sixth and Eighth Circuits, the Supreme Court of the United States, the U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
For excellence in his career, Mr. Morganroth has been inducted into the International Association of Top Professionals Hall of Fame for his outstanding leadership and commitment to the legal industry. Furthermore, he holds an AV Preeminent Rating from Martindale-Hubbell and has been recognized among North America's Top Attorneys, New York Top Trial Lawyers by the National Trial Lawyers and the Top 100 by the American Academy of Trial Attorneys. Mr. Morganroth has been further honored by the College of Law at Michigan State University with a Distinguished Lawyer Lifetime Achievement Award.
Born in Detroit to Maurice Jack Morganroth and Sophie Reisman Blum, Mr. Morganroth has been happily married to his wife, Sheila Rubinstein, for over 60 years. Together, they are the proud parents of three children, Lauri, Jeffrey and Cherie, and grandparents to five grandchildren. Jeffery and Cherie currently work alongside Mr. Morganroth at his firm. Furthermore, he would advise young and aspiring professionals to be prepared, build relationships, never lie and never misrepresent themselves.
