MegaTV Promotes Carlos Herrera to Regional Sales Manager
MIAMI, Sept. 28, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Spanish Broadcasting System Inc., ("SBS") (Nasdaq: SBSA) announced today the promotion of industry veteran Carlos Herrera to Regional Sales Manager for MegaTV, SBS's Television property. In his new role, Mr. Herrera will be responsible for regional "spot" sales, paid programming and infomercials for the network MegaTV in Miami, West Palm Beach, New York, Chicago, Houston, Fresno- California, Salt Lake City, Orlando, Tampa, Puerto Rico, DIRECTV, AT&T U-Verse and other markets, while coordinating and overseeing regional sales representatives.

Herrera was previously a Sales Manager in charge of the Infomercial Sales Department on both a local and national level for MegaTV.
Born in Bogota, Colombia, Carlos holds a Masters in International Business and graduated with a degree in Economics and Finance from the Universidad Externado de Colombia. He owned his own sales business until accepting a job in 1999 with AT&T in the U.S. In 2003, Carlos became an account executive at America TeVe (Channel 41) in Miami where he successfully developed a sales portfolio in excess of US$18.0 million dollars, until his appointment at MegaTV.
Among his passions, is his affinity for soccer and spending time with his family, friends and especially with his son.
