MRM//McCann Promotes Jill Cooley EVP, Worldwide Account Director to Lead General Motors Global Account, Tamy Harms Appointed President MRM//McCann Detroit

NEW YORK, Nov. 26, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Michael McLaren, CEO of MRM//McCann, a global customer experience marketing agency made two announcements today.  Jill Cooley, currently EVP, Managing Director of MRM//McCann Detroit is being promoted to the global position of EVP, Worldwide Account Director.  In addition, award winning agency executive Tamy Harms is being appointed to the role of President for MRM//McCann Detroit.

Working closely with Bill Kolb, Chairman of MRM//McCann, Jill will be leading one of the Agency's largest global clients, General Motors and driving further collaboration and integration with Commonwealth//McCann on the global Chevrolet business.

Tamy was most recently President of WPP's POSSIBLE in Cincinnati where she led that agency's largest office in their global network.  She led top-ranked clients such as Procter & Gamble, ConAgra Foods, J.M. Smucker and Build-A-Bear, to name a few. She has also won numerous industry awards.   

Prior to POSSIBLE, she held senior executive positions at Digitas where she led the Detroit office and was recognized with many honors for work on Buick, GMC and GM.  In keeping with MRM//McCann's own focus on creating best-in-class workplace environments, Tamy has been noted for her ability to build winning workplace cultures.  She has also held positions at Carlson Marketing Group, McCann Erickson and Leo Burnett
