Mudrick Capital Management Appoints Scot Pasquale as Chief Financial Officer

Appointment Reflects the Firm's Continued Investment in Leadership Team and Platform Development

NEW YORK, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Mudrick Capital Management, L.P., a New York-based event-driven investment firm, today announced the appointment of Scot Pasquale as Chief Financial Officer, effective September 1, 2026. In this role, Mr. Pasquale will oversee the Firm's finance, accounting, and operations functions, serve on the Management Committee, and help support Mudrick Capital's continued growth and platform development. He will be based at the Firm's New York City headquarters.

Mr. Pasquale brings nearly three decades of experience in finance and operations leadership across the alternative asset management industry, along with experience in investment banking and accounting. Most recently, he served as Chief Financial Officer at Marathon Asset Management, where he spent more than 18 years and served as a member of the firm's Executive Committee. In that role, he oversaw global accounting and operational functions supporting the firm's investment platform, led firmwide financial reporting and budgeting efforts, and managed a team of approximately 30 professionals across New York and London.

Prior to Marathon, Mr. Pasquale served as Vice President in the Investment Banking Division at Lehman Brothers and began his career at Ernst & Young LLP. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Economics, with a major in Accounting, from Lehigh University.

Mr. Pasquale's appointment reflects Mudrick Capital's continued investment in its leadership team and platform development. The Firm has recently expanded its senior leadership capabilities through several strategic hires – including Adam Kaufman, Chief Legal Officer, and Andrew Meares, Managing Director leading investment activities across the United Kingdom and Europe – further strengthening the breadth of expertise supporting Mudrick Capital's investment platform and long-term growth objectives.
