NAVC Launches Inaugural Best Places to Practice Alongside the Return of the VETTY® Awards

Two distinct award programs that highlight the hard work of professionals elevating the animal healthcare industry.

What is the Best Places to Practice Awards Program?
A first-of-its-kind for the industry, Today's Veterinary Business Best Places to Practice recognizes clinics and practices redefining the workplace. This new NAVC awards program is designed to benchmark and celebrate best-in-class employee cultures, showcasing veterinary practices that are leading the way as a preferred employer. Veterinary practices and clinics are invited to register for the free employee-survey program starting September 1. Teams that participate will receive:
- Recognition in NAVC's award-winning publication, Today's Veterinary Business and on social media for those organizations awarded the Best Places to Practice honor
- Anonymized data on employee satisfaction and engagement
- Benchmarking against similar practices within the program

2027 VETTY® Award Submissions Open
The VETTY® Awards, entering its 10th year, give marketing and communications teams a chance to put their creativity on the map. Entries for Early Bird submissions open today, September 1. The VETTY® Awards recognize innovation and excellence in the art of communicating about animal healthcare products, services, and programs. New categories this year include brand storytelling, best rebranding and social media viral moment. Eligible work must have been produced between November 1, 2025 and October 31, 2026. Winners will be recognized at VMX 2027, which takes place January 16 – 20 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.
