NCYS Awards Seven Youth Sports Organizations with Lifesaving AED Packages Through Project AED365 During National Youth Sports Week and Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Month

BRENTWOOD, Tenn., Oct. 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Coro Med, in collaboration with the National Council of Youth Sports (NCYS), today announced the recipients of the Safety-First Awards, equipping seven youth sports organizations across the country with Automated External Defibrillator (AED) packages, emergency training, and Emergency Action Plan (EAP) resources.

The awards, made possible through Project AED365 in partnership with Coro Medical, Zoll Medical, HSI, LifeVac, and GoRescue, coincided with National Youth Sports Week (October 6–11, 2025) and National Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) Awareness Month, underscoring the urgent need to prepare coaches, volunteers, and communities to respond when every second counts.

• North Star Soccer Club – Birmingham, AL
• East Pasco Gymnastics – Davenport, FL
• Minnesota Hockey, Inc. – St. Paul, MN
• Town of Wellesley Recreation Department – Wellesley, MA

Each recipient will receive a ZOLL AED 3, a Remote Skills Verification (RSV) training course from HSI, AED365 AED Program Management, and a LifeVac choking rescue device through Project AED365, and a customizable Emergency Action Plan from NCYS — vital tools to improve survival chances when sudden cardiac arrest strikes. These awards also recognize organizations for their leadership in youth safety, coach readiness, and equitable access to life-saving resources.
