New Additions to Bloomberg US Large Cap Equity Index (B500) Unveiled Following Semi-Annual Reconstitution

NEW YORK, March 17, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Bloomberg Indices announced the following changes to the Bloomberg US Large Cap Equity Index (B500) effective prior to the open of trading on Thursday, March 13, to coincide with the semi-annual reconstitution.

Natera Inc. (NTRA), Packaging Corp of America (PKG), Reddit Inc. (RDDT), Robinhood Markets, Inc. (HOOD), Expand Energy Corp (EXE), Texas Pacific Land Corp (TPL), TKO Group Holdings, Inc. (TKO), Toast, Inc. (TOST), TPG Inc., (TPG), Twilio Inc. (TWLO), and Williams-Sonoma Inc. (WSM) have entered the index.

These equities span a variety of sectors, but Technology and Financial Services are most represented amongst this set. Changes to the B500 Index reflect the results of a purely rules-based index design focused on measuring markets with transparency and representativeness beyond market capitalization alone. As a result, the B500 eliminates potential biases and systematically evaluates potential members, which may lead to earlier additions of qualified companies when compared to indices using a committee-based approach.

The B500 is Bloomberg's US Large Cap Price Return Index that contains the 500 most highly capitalized US companies weighted by float market cap. The index reflects a market capitalization of $48.93 trillion with a membership of 500 equities.
