Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. Announces Three New Debt Capital Markets Hires
NEW YORK, Oct. 24, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. ("Oppenheimer") – a leading wealth manager and investment bank under Oppenheimer Holdings (NYSE: OPY) – today announced three senior additions to its debt capital markets (DCM) business. The new hires are responsible for origination and structuring of new issue debt instruments. Together, they will help service Oppenheimer's Investment Banking clients by utilizing the capabilities of its Capital Markets Divisions.

The group of new hires includes:
- Kimberly (Kim) Boulmetis joins the Firm with more than 20 years of experience from Incapital and Bernstein Global Wealth Management in the areas of investment management for high-net-worth individuals, families, foundations and endowments, and small to medium-sized businesses. She also served as the Head of DCM's Financial Institutions Origination Group at Calyon Securities and The Bank of New York.
- Robert (Rob) Fischer also joins from Incapital, where he served as Head of Origination. Fischer has a strong background in DCM and was previously a senior member of Bear Stearn's DCM and Global Liability Management Group. He brings a wealth of knowledge in structuring and origination of leveraged finance solutions to Oppenheimer.
- Sanjeev Khurana brings more than 20 years of experience in private capital raising, institutional sales, origination, structuring, and investments to Oppenheimer. His established relationships with a number of important partners, including lenders and issuers, will help elevate the Firm's presence in the space.
The new hires report to John Tonelli, Head of DCM and Syndication, and will work under the direction of Peter Albano, Global Head of Taxable Fixed Income, in marketing and distribution of debt investments to Oppenheimer's institutional fixed income clients.
