Palo Alto Networks Endpoint Protection and Response Product Secures FedRAMP Milestone
SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 22, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Palo Alto Networks (NYSE: PANW), the global cybersecurity leader, today announced its Traps™ endpoint protection and response product has achieved the designation of "In Process" for the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP). This achievement marks an important milestone for Traps, which combines multiple methods of prevention to provide endpoint security.
Traps stops threats and coordinates enforcement with network and cloud security to prevent successful cyberattacks. It blocks known and unknown malware, exploits, and ransomware by observing attack techniques and behaviors. Additionally, it enables organizations to automatically stop and respond to sophisticated attacks by using behavioral threat protection techniques with data collected from the endpoint, network and cloud.
