ParkMobile Partners with UC Davis to Provide Daily Parking Rates on Campus
Students and employees will now be able to purchase discounted daily parking passes via mobile app
DAVIS, Calif., Jan. 12, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- ParkMobile, the leading provider of smart parking and mobility solutions in North America, announced today the launch of new daily parking rates at the University of California, Davis campus. Students and employees with a valid university email address will be able to use the ParkMobile app to access special daily parking rates at nearly 11,000 spaces around campus in the open surface lots and multi-level garages. Paying a daily rate with the ParkMobile app will replace the monthly permits program, providing more flexibility to students and faculty. Students and employees will have to create a ParkMobile account using a valid UC Davis email address to access the rates for the daily parking passes. To pay to park with the app, a user enters the zone number posted on stickers and signs around the lot and touches the "Start Parking" button to begin the session. Visitors to campus will also be able to use the ParkMobile app to pay for parking, but they will not qualify for the special daily rates.
