Dr. David Jeremiah, founder and host of Turning Point Broadcast Ministry, Issues Statement on Attack on Israeli Embassy Staff

SAN DIEGO, May 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Violence, in any form, is a heartbreaking. But when it continues to happen, it adds a level of incomprehension. I am grieved by the murder of two Israeli Embassy officials in our nation's capital last night and the general rise in hostility toward Jews and Israel. Violence is never the answer; it only fuels discord's flames.

Moments like this remind me that our true hope is Christ, and it is in Him that we will ultimately find lasting peace and unity. Christ tells us, "In Me, you may have peace. In the world you with have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world" (John 16:33). And in Revelation, John tells us that one day the Lord will "wipe away every tear from their eyes, there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying" (21:4).

This tragedy should remind us of the critical importance of placing our faith in Christ and fervently praying for peace. May we all diligently pray for God's protection and guidance for all Americans and His chosen people as we seek peace and unity in this difficult and unprecedented time.

Heavenly Father,

The psalmist tells us you "are near to the brokenhearted."

So, I pray that Your Spirit would surround the family and friends of this young couple. That You would comfort them in this difficult time and bring them the peace that can only come from You.

Lord, guide us as brothers and sisters in Christ to care for one another and to be Your hands and feet. May we place our faith in You and seek Your wisdom and guidance in all we do.

You are our Rock and Fortress, You are the hope of the world, and You will wipe away every tear.
