PSEG Long Island Adds New Payment Option

UNIONDALE, N.Y., March 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- PSEG Long Island announced today another new, customer-focused improvement that makes it easier for customers to do business with their electric utility. In a move that further enhances the existing self-service options available, PSEG Long Island has contracted with Speedpay® to provide payments processing services through which residential and business customers can now pay their bill using a credit or debit card through the Speedpay® website.

To make a credit or debit card payment, PSEG Long Island customers can call 888-608-6669, or visit https://psegli.speedpay.com.

Credit or debit cards can be used by residential and commercial customers to pay their bill, with all payments processed by Speedpay, a Western Union company. Customers who are applying for a new account will not be able to use credit or debit cards to make their deposit. Advance payments cannot be made with a credit or debit card. Payments made through the Speedpay website will be posted within three business days.

Speedpay charges a processing fee per payment of $2.95 for residential customers and $9.95 for commercial customers.
