XUANCHENG, Anhui, April 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Quality Herb is proud to announce the newest members of their herb extract inventory: kudzu root extract, icariin, and bilberry extract. These new herb extracts have been chosen based off cutting edge pharmacological research for their potent benefits.
Quality Herb CEO Andy Bee had this to say about the launch of the new herb extracts.
Growing up in a Chinese household I have become appreciative to the customs and traditions of holistic Chinese medicine. My underlying fascination for them was the reason I started Quality Herb and I am constantly looking to improve the brand. After teaming with researchers we found a great deal of benefits in kudzu root extract, icariin, and bilberry. The result has been for the immediate production of daily use products containing each of the three herb extracts. Based off our understanding of these three herbs and their growing popularity we are expecting to see their increasing sales in the coming months.
Kudzu root extract is composed of isoflavins that have been hypothesized to promote muscle relaxation. This makes Kudzu root extract an ideal therapeutic in treating conditions such as muscle aches, stiffness throughout the body, and even cramping. Kudzu root extract has also shown to reduce thirst, helping to alleviate urination from excessive drinking.
Icariin is a flavonol glycoside isolated from the genus Epimedium. This compound has been shown to have similar therapeutic mechanisms as lab synthesized western medicines. Icariin is often used to treat low sex drive and libido. Icariin has also been linked to increasing performance in the gym.
Bilberry Extract comes from the genus Vaccinium. The fruiting berry part of the plant contains many different such chemical compounds as, glycosides and anthocyanin, and flavonoids. The flavonoid nature of bilberry makes it a possible antioxidant, antibacterial, and antiviral. Bilberry has also been shown in animals such as rabbits to help promote repair of nervous tissue in the eye. Rabbits subjected to bilberry extract in their diet showed improved retinal structure and function when given a diet consisting of bilberry extract.
