QVC Returns to the Runway with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week

WEST CHESTER, Pa., Feb. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- As the world's leading fashion designers take to the runway to show their latest collections in New York City, QVC will once again offer viewers a front row seat with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week - Live from New York.  The leading multimedia retailer is scheduled to debut the spring 2011 collections from some of fashion's biggest names during two live broadcasts on Friday, February 11 at 10 PM (ET) and Saturday, February 12 at 10 PM (ET).

The Friday show is scheduled to feature the debut of Muxo by Camila Alves, a luxury handbag line from the stylish television personality, and Meghan Fabulous, the eponymous fashion line from one of Hollywood's favorite designers.   Manhattan-based accessories designer Malini Murjani will launch her line of globally inspired handbags during the Saturday broadcast.  Additionally, some of QVC's most popular designers, including the Kardashians, Marc Bouwer, Lori Goldstein, Melania Trump, Dennis Basso and Isaac Mizrahi, will unveil the latest spring 2011 collections throughout both shows.

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week – Live from New York is part of 25 to Watch, QVC's 25th anniversary celebration.

25 to Watch is an all-access pass to the people, places and products viewers won't want to miss in 2011. QVC's Fashion Week event marks the first of these moments with a preview of the 25 to Watch campaign and access to QVC's growing app portfolio.  Additional behind the scenes footage and celebrity and designer interviews will be available on QVC's social networking platforms following the event.
