Salt-N-Pepa Joins Lane Bryant In Launching #ImNoAngel Campaign In New York City

In celebration of the launch, the hip-hop group performed at a surprise pop-up concert in NYC

NEW YORK, April 7, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Lane Bryant, the nation's leader in fashion for women sizes 14 to 28, celebrated the debut of the brand's trailblazing #ImNoAngel campaign yesterday with a comprehensive advertising campaign nationwide that included a "pop-up" concert in New York City, featuring first all-female hip-hop group, Salt-N-Pepa.

Joined by campaign models Ashley Graham, Marquita Pring, Candice Huffine, Victoria Lee, Justine Legault and Elly Mayday, Salt-N-Pepa surprised tourists and NYC natives by performing their top hits, "Push It" and "Shoop" atop the #ImNoAngel bus in Flatiron. In addition to the surprise show, Salt-N-Pepa's performance was accompanied by a choreographed flash mob.

Salt-N-Pepa, consisting of Cheryl "Salt" James and Sandra "Pepa" Denton are long-time supporters of body acceptance, making them a perfect partner to kick off the #ImNoAngel movement with Lane Bryant.
