SCORE and American Airlines Partner to Help America's Small Businesses Take Flight

WASHINGTON, April 17, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- SCORE, – www.score.org- America's premier source of free and confidential small business advice, has once again partnered with American Airlines, an industry leader in helping businesses manage their travel. According to recent data by Replicon, businesses are spending about $440 per flight, nearly 25 percent more than the average domestic airfare of $357, according to the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics. In fact, according to the data, airfare makes up for nearly half (40 percent) of a company's overall travel costs. American Airlines and SCORE will partner to provide small business owners opportunities for growth while providing helpful tips to manage their businesses. Specifically, they will create an educational eGuide and host a free informative webinar aimed at this goal. In 2011, SCORE's online educational tools were accessed by more than 535,000 small business clients and their webinars received over 87,000 participants.
