Segway Names Veteran Executive Rod Keller As President

BEDFORD, N.H., May 6, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Segway Inc. (Segway), the world's leading provider of electric personal transportation, announces it has named Rod Keller as its President.

Keller is a veteran executive with an extensive sales and marketing background.

He will lead the revitalization of the Company as it focuses on:

• Driving innovation in personal transportation products
• Designing and delivering new Segway quality, value priced solutions
• Expanding its worldwide network and earning additional market share

Prior to joining Segway, Keller held executive roles at global technology organizations including T3 Motion, DIRECTV,Siemens Home and Office Communications, Linksys, Augmentix and Toshiba America Information Systems. He has an exemplary track record of executing complex growth plans, managing operations, overseeing product development and improving market penetration. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Texas State University and is also on its McCoy School of Business Advisory Board.
