Steel Dynamics Announces Early Results for Its Previously Announced Tender Offer
FORT WAYNE, Ind., Jan. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Steel Dynamics, Inc. (the "Company") (NASDAQ/GS: STLD) today announced that, as of 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on January 10, 2012 (the "Early Tender Deadline"), it had received tenders from holders of $278,470,000 in aggregate principal amount of its 7 3/8% Senior Notes due 2012 (the "Notes"), representing approximately 39.78% of the outstanding Notes, in connection with the Company's previously announced cash tender offer for up to $350 million of the $700 million aggregate principal amount of the Notes (the "Offer"). The Company will accept the Notes that have been validly tendered for purchase as of the Early Tender Deadline and the Company currently expects to make payments with respect to said Notes on or about January 12, 2012, subject to the satisfaction or waiver of the conditions specified in the Offer to Purchase.
