Switch Raises $1.4 Million in Seed Round Funding Led by Metamorphic Ventures and Rhodium

NEW YORK, Dec. 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Switch, the developer of a mobile job discovery marketplace, announced today the closing of $1.4 million in seed round funding. The company plans to use the funding to build out the Switch team based in New York City and scale into other major technology markets across the United States, including the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, Austin, and Washington, D.C.  The seed financing was led by Rhodium and Metamorphic Ventures with additional participation from BAM Ventures, SG VC, and strategic New York-based angel investors.

By moving job sourcing to an easy-to-use mobile application, employers and candidates can be matched up with a smartphone swipe and start communicating immediately through Switch's chat platform.
