Sysmex Launches Two New Best-in-Class Hematology Offerings and Exhibits Sysmex WAM™ 5.0, the Latest in Middleware, During AACC

These include the Sysmex XP-300™, a big update for smaller labs that is launching in the U.S. and was recently introduced to the Latin America and Caribbean market, as well as the Sysmex DI-60™ Integrated Slide Processing System, which provides seamless integration of automated slide making/staining and digital cell image pre-classification. Additionally, Sysmex is exhibiting Sysmex WAM™ v.5.0, the latest middleware software, enabling efficiency and control over hematology workflow and results management.

AACC is the world's largest gathering of clinical laboratory professionals including laboratory management, researchers, GPOs and product development specialists and hosts the largest exposition of clinical laboratory products and services in the world.​

Sysmex XP-300

The Sysmex XP-300 Automated Hematology Analyzer is the newest member of the company's 3-part differential analyzer portfolio and combines the reliability and heritage of the KX-21N™ with updated, user friendly software. The XP-300 provides the convenience of a color touch panel for ease-of-use operation and time saving barcode scanning, and is capable of storing up to 40,000 samples. A big update for the smaller hospitals, clinics and office-based laboratories, the XP-300 provides access to the known reliability of Sysmex hematology analyzers.

Sysmex DI-60

The Sysmex DI-60 Integrated Slide Processing System is a compact platform that provides integrated, scalable automation of the manual blood film preparation and WBC differential process. It integrates slide preparation, slide staining and digital image pre-classification of cells in a single work cell.  A more standardized differential result and extensive collaboration via network connectivity enhances the level of service laboratories can provide to clinicians and patients.

Sysmex WAM v.5.0

A new version of the WAM Decision Support Software for the Clinical Lab includes an extended delta and previous checking module that goes beyond the traditional delta checking by adding the ability to 'look-back' and determine the absence or presence of flags, comments and operator alerts over a range of results. The ultimate goal is to reduce the number of unnecessary smear reviews or manual differentials, and the system truly elevates the multi-variable checking for both Delta and Previous data checks.  In addition, Sysmex is previewing expanded support services that will provide automated rule and workflow testing services for Sysmex WAM customers during implementation.
