COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 28, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Lane Bryant, the nation's leading women's specialty apparel retailer, is celebrating education during the brand's second annual Chalk it up to Style promotion in stores nationwide.

From July 28-August 10, 2014, teachers and supporting school staff will enjoy saving 30% off their purchase when shopping in store with a valid school ID or paystub. Additionally, 99 select stores will host an exclusive Chalk it up to Style Event on August 8, during which teachers can enjoy all day savings of 40% off their purchase of new fall fashion perfect for back-to-school season. From 5-8PM, customers can also enter to win special gift card giveaways in each of the 99 event stores. See below for a full list of participating stores.

Those who shop in store during the Chalk it up to Style promotion will also have the chance to give back! Customers will be able to round up their purchase at the register in benefit of AdoptAClassroom.org. The nonprofit organization provides funding for teachers to purchase the classroom supplies and materials needed to create a dynamic learning environment where children can learn and succeed.

In conjunction with the Chalk it up to Style promotion, Lane Bryant will also host a talent show contest on the brand's Facebook page (www.facebook.com/lanebryant) where entrants can upload a photo showcasing their special skill for the chance to win a $5,000 donation to the school of their choice, as well as a $1,000 Lane Bryant Gift Card.
