Tempur International Introduces Several New Products At 2014 Koln Fair

LEXINGTON, Ky., Jan. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Tempur Sealy International, Inc. (NYSE: TPX), the world's largest bedding provider, today announced that its Tempur International business introduced several new products at the Koln Fair, the world's largest furniture trade show held this week in Cologne, Germany.

Six New Mattresses Featuring TEMPUR-Breeze™ Technology
Tempur International introduced six new mattresses featuring TEMPUR-Breeze™ technology, with two models offered in each of its three mattress collections: two TEMPUR® Original Breeze mattresses (22cm and 27cm), two TEMPUR® Cloud Breeze mattresses (22cm and 27cm), and two TEMPUR® Sensation Breeze mattresses (22cm and 27cm). The TEMPUR® Breeze mattresses feature TEMPUR-Climate Material™ and an open structured 3D spacer for enhanced micro-climate performance.

"Similar to the successful TEMPUR-Breeze™ mattresses in North America, the new international TEMPUR® Breeze mattresses offer the comfort, support and no motion transfer benefits that owners love about Tempur, while addressing the unmet needs of those who want to sleep cooler," said David Montgomery, Executive Vice President and President of Tempur International.

The new TEMPUR® Breeze mattresses will roll-out internationally by region beginning in early 2014 and are expected to be available in all Tempur International markets by late 2014. The recommended retail prices for each new TEMPUR® Breeze mattress ranges from 1599-1799 Euros (standard 90cm x 200cm).

Expanded Pillow Collection
Tempur International also announced the launch of two new pillows within its TEMPUR® Traditional pillow collection: the TEMPUR® Breeze Pillow and the TEMPUR® EasyClean™ Pillow. The TEMPUR® Breeze Pillow was designed to complement the new offering of TEMPUR® Breeze mattresses and is also made with TEMPUR-Climate Material™ to enhance the micro-climate performance. The TEMPUR® EasyClean™ Pillow is made with TEMPUR Washable Material™, a unique washable formulation that allows for the whole pillow to be machine washed and tumble dried for extra hygiene. Each of the new pillows will be available in soft, medium and firm comfort options.

Upgraded "Experience" Bed Collection
Tempur International also exhibited an upgraded "Experience" bed collection to complement its entire mattress range. "As well as providing exceptional comfort and support in our mattress and pillow offering we find customers increasingly willing to spend more on bed systems that augment their total sleep experience, through both improved styling and additional features such as adjustable bases," added Montgomery. "This upgraded furniture collection has distinctive Scandinavian styling in three new fabric combinations and a range of static and adjustable options to suit a wide variety of budgets."
