The Charming Taste of Europe Showcases European Excellence at TEXSOM 2025

 The EU-funded campaign brought the richness of European wines and fresh fruits to one of the most influential beverage education events in the United States

NEW YORK, Sept. 18, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Charming Taste of Europe, a campaign co-funded by the European Union, celebrates the heritage and quality of European wines and fresh fruits, introducing North American audiences to exquisite products from Italy, France, and Greece. The initiative is promoted by the Consortium for the Protection of Abruzzo Wines, the Union of Sweet Bordeaux Wines, and the Association of Imathia's Agricultural Cooperatives.

As part of this mission, The Charming Taste of Europe proudly participated in the most recent edition of TEXSOM, held from August 22 to 25, 2025 in Dallas, one of the leading beverage education and industry events in the United States. Widely recognized as a premier gathering for sommeliers, beverage professionals, educators, and buyers, TEXSOM has established itself as an unparalleled platform for advancing beverage knowledge and celebrating excellence on a global scale.

The conference once again drew top experts and influential voices from across the country, creating an environment where education, discovery, and networking go hand in hand. Against this dynamic backdrop, The Charming Taste of Europe was delighted to present a series of engaging initiatives designed to bring the richness of European winemaking and agricultural heritage directly to the American trade audience.

The program began on Friday, August 22, with a promotional lunch that offered participants an exclusive opportunity to taste and learn about the unique flavors and traditions that define European excellence. The presence of The Charming Taste of Europe continued over the weekend with two sessions at the EXPO Trade Tasting and Exhibition. The first took place on Sunday, August 24, from 5:00–6:30 p.m., while the second followed on Monday, August 25, from 10:15–11:45 a.m. Both sessions attracted significant interest from attendees eager to explore the distinctive character, diversity, and authenticity of European products.
