Scheier has more than 20 years of industry experience, most recently served as an assistant vice president and underwriting officer at Zurich North America. In addition, Eric Schuler has been appointed director of underwriting. He is responsible for leading the company's management liability team in San Francisco. Prior to joining The Hanover, Schuler served as regional vice president, management solutions group at Zurich North America.
