The St. James Launches Football Program Led by Gallaudet All American Adham Talaat

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va., Aug. 1, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The St. James announced the launch of its football program, providing one of the broadest range of on the field and off the field developmental and training opportunities available in the country. The program, which will be led by Gallaudet All-American Adham Talaat, will feature everything from learn-to-play to position-specific skills training to competitive flag and 7-on-7 leagues.

Talaat was a star defensive end at Gallaudet where he helped lead the team to its first conference championship in school history and was a finalist for the Gagliardi Trophy, which honors the nation's best Division III football player. 

He went on to train as a free agent with the Seattle Seahawks, Kansas City Chiefs and New York Giants, becoming the fourth deaf player in NFL history. 

In addition to his role as director of football, Talaat will serve as a strength and conditioning coach in The St. James High Performance Center.  Before joining The St. James, Talaat was a strength and conditioning coach at his alma mater Gallaudet working with student-athletes across a variety of sports and positions.  He also worked with the University of Southern California's football strength and conditioning program.
