TOTO Featured on DIY Network's "Bath Crashers"

MORROW, Ga., Nov. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- DIY Network's top-rated home improvement show, "Bath Crashers," features TOTO's premium plumbing products in an episode that premiered Monday, November 7th -- with additional airtimes throughout this week.  Hosted by Matt Muenster, an interior designer and licensed contractor, the series takes its affable host into big-box home improvement stores, where he ambushes a lucky couple and convinces them that he will remodel their bathroom at no charge, in just three days.

The current episode titled, "From Brown to Green," was shot at the LiaBraaten home in Eden Prairie, MN.  Its title plays on the word "green," which applies not only to a prominent pop of color in the completed bath suite, but also to the TOTO high-efficiency plumbing products, which save water--and save money—without sacrificing an ounce of performance.

The master bath's makeover took the space from timeworn shades of brown to sleek and modern, with dark tones on the wall covering, neutrals for floor tile, and warm wood accents.  The couple, who enjoy a pop of vibrant color, worked with Muenster to create an eye-catching Jack and Jill vanity with a vivid apple green back wall. Rounding out the modern luxury design, the design team integrated TOTO's Nexus Freestanding Soaking Tub and Freestanding Single Handle Tub Filler, which serve as a beautiful piece of water sculpture.

For the LiaBraaten luxury spa bath, DIY selected TOTO products for their innovation, water efficiency, trend-setting design, and extraordinary performance.  For the vanities of this chic, modern space, the company installed its high-design Waza Noir Cast Iron Vessel Lavatories and elegant En Single Lever High-Efficiency Faucets.  In the secluded toilet area, TOTO put in its NEOREST 500 integrated toilet and personal cleansing system.  In the shower, TOTO installed its Aimes Ceiling Mount Showerhead with the EcoPower Shower Lighting System, Kiwami Renesse Handshower and Trim, and high-efficiency 0.8 gallons per minute GyroSteam High-Efficiency Body Sprays, which provide whole body drenching with their unique water technology that encases individuals in warm water as if they were in a bath.  Soiree accessories completed the design.
