To date, TRX has established its leadership position in the functional training space through a comprehensive offering of TRX Suspension Training based gear, programming content, and hands-on professional education. The addition of the TRX Rip™ Trainer further expands the company's ability to deliver functional and innovative training for individuals of all fitness levels and abilities.

The TRX Rip Trainer is a 40-inch, commercial-grade bar with a sheathed elastic resistance cord that can attach to either one or both sides; the bar collapses for easy portability and comes with a door anchor, Basic Training DVD and guidebook. Created by a Peter Holman, a two-time US National Tae Kwon Do champion, Physical Therapist and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, the TRX Rip Trainer uses the asymmetrical loading of the resistance cord to constantly challenge one's balance and force maximum muscle recruitment. Like the Suspension Trainer, the Rip Trainer is lightweight, weighing less than four pounds, easy to set up, incredibly versatile, and it allows anyone at any fitness level to get a full body workout.
