Updated Information: DICK'S Sporting Goods Announces Grand Opening Celebration in Seattle, WA

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 29, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- DICK'S Sporting Goods (NYSE: DKS), the largest U.S.-based, full-line omni-channel sporting goods retailer, will celebrate the Grand Opening of its 11^th store in Washington and 679^th store nationwide at Northgate North in Seattle, WA (328 NE Northgate Way) starting on December 2.

 The Northgate location will be one of the first former The Sports Authority stores to be converted into a DICK'S Sporting Goods store.

DICK'S three-day Grand Opening celebration will run through Sunday, December 4. The store will open at 8:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 9:00 a.m. Sunday.  On Friday, the first 100 people in line will receive a free adidas Go-To Performance T-Shirt. Adults who are in line at 7:45 a.m. on Friday will get a chance to open the DICK'S Sporting Goods Gift Locker.‡‡

Seattle defensive back DeShawn Shead** will make an in-store appearance from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Saturday and Sunday giveaways include a free Mystery Gift Card for the first 100 adults in line. Adults who are in line at 7:45 a.m. on Saturday and 8:45 a.m. on Sunday will also get a chance to open the DICK'S Sporting Goods Gift Locker.‡‡
