Winchester Interconnect Announces the Acquisition of W-Technology

NORWALK, Conn., Aug. 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Winchester Interconnect Corporation, a portfolio company of Snow Phipps Group, announced today that it has successfully completed the acquisition of W-Technology Inc.  Headquartered in Houston, TX, W-Tech specializes in the design and development of rotatable and molded connectors, precision-machined components, and specialized cable assemblies.  

"W-Tech expands Winchester's product breadth and provides access to new customers in the oil and gas end markets," said Kevin Perhamus, CEO of Winchester. "We are excited to work with the company's strong management team to drive future growth across the combined platform."

On July 10, Winchester announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to be acquired by Aptiv PLC, a global technology company enabling the future of mobility.  The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2018.
