This exciting news arrives just as the annual grape harvest in Alsace is wrapping up.
Strong US Market Gains
U.S. wine drinkers have an increasing thirst for Alsace wines with French Customs data* showing robust U.S. demand:
- For both still and sparkling wines, the U.S. ranks as the #2 export market in value with a +7.5% increase, and #3 in volume at almost 2.9 million bottles / around 241K cases (240,000+ hectoliters) an increase of +8.1%.
- Still wines alone achieved #2 in value with an increase of +5.9%, and #3 in volume at approximately 1.5 million bottles / 128,488 cases (11,564 hectoliters), an increase of +2.8%.
- Crémant d'Alsace, the region's acclaimed bubbly made in the traditional method, continues to sparkle in the US at #2 in value with a +10% increase, and #3 in volume at 1.3 million bottles / 112,277 cases (10,105 hectoliters), an increase of +14.8%.

The New Alsace Rocks Campaign
To build on the momentum, Wines of Alsace USA has unveiled a refreshed Alsace Rocks campaign that highlights three pillars inherent to this region tucked in France's northeast corner:
- Friends & Family: wines for sharing across all life's moments, produced by generations of Alsace's winemaking families.
- Flavors: a spectrum of styles, tastes and aromas, and food-pairing possibilities.
- Nature: stunning landscapes, and the region's commitment to sustainable, organic and biodynamic viticulture.
The campaign, with new creative by leading design agency Marine Lane, features a fresh visual identity and impactful consumer outreach. A bold new tagline, "Embrace New Terrain," invites consumers to discover and explore the distinct terroirs and taste experiences of Alsace wines. A secondary tag, "Feel a little French tonight," playfully reminds wine lovers that every bottle of Alsace wine is 100% French. Strategic partnerships with Vox Media, VinePair, and Wine.com, dynamic social and influencer collaborations amplify messaging, extend reach, and deepen engagement.
