Women's Clothing Retailer Sacred Threads Announces New Way for Customers to Shop
GAINESVILLE, Fla., Oct. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- For the first time in its history, retailer Sacred Threads is offering its customers a new way to shop the company's boutique line of women's clothing.
Sacred Threads, which was founded in 1992, was previously only available in boutiques around the country. Last month, however, the company launched its new retail website, allowing Sacred Threads customers to shop online and view the full line of Sacred Threads clothing.
While Sacred Threads retailers will still carry the clothing line in their boutiques, the retail site will offer more variety to those shoppers who are searching from home. Plus, the company's new website will feature a boutique locator, allowing consumers to find the nearest retailer carrying Sacred Threads clothing. This will give those shoppers who prefer to shop in person the chance to find a boutique location near them. Sacred Threads will still have its wholesale site, which features information for retailers, as well as a boutique locator.
With the launch of the new website, Sacred Threads is inviting its customers to visit the new retail site and take 20 percent off their purchases. Between now and November 5, customers can use the code "ARTOFCLOTHING" at checkout and save on their online purchases.
Sacred Threads is best known for its signature patchwork style, which was created from traditional Indian saris. The company first sold clothing made from Indian fabric designed for a Western audience, and has since started purchasing garments from China, India and Thailand.
Sacred Threads also contributes heavily to its charitable organization, the Sacred Deeds Foundation. About half of the company's profits are donated to charities, which are primarily based in India, and Sacred Threads has donated more than $1.5 million to date.
