Alteryx Announces Mark Anderson to Succeed Dean Stoecker as CEO

IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 5, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- Alteryx, Inc. (NYSE: AYX), a leader in analytic process automation (APA™), announced that Mark Anderson, a current member of Alteryx's Board of Directors, has been appointed to succeed Dean Stoecker, Alteryx's Co-founder, Chairman and current Chief Executive Officer, as Alteryx's Chief Executive Officer, effective today. Mr. Anderson is a seasoned executive with a proven track record guiding enterprise technology organizations as they grow and scale, including as President of Palo Alto Networks. The Company also announced that Mr. Stoecker has been appointed as Alteryx's Executive Chairman and will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Updated Third Quarter Financial Outlook

Alteryx currently expects that total revenue for the third quarter ended September 30, 2020 will be in the range of $126.0 million to $128.0 million, representing 22% to 24% year-over-year growth, ahead of the previously issued guidance of $111.0 million to $115.0 million.

Mark Anderson is a seasoned executive with a proven track record of rapidly building and scaling organizations for growth and profitability and serving enterprise customers with a high level of quality and integrity.

Mr. Anderson is the former president of Palo Alto Networks, where he was responsible for sales, go-to-market (GTM), and customer satisfaction as well as business and corporate development, and is the former chief growth officer of Anaplan. At Palo Alto Networks, Mr. Anderson helped build out GTM teams to support rapid growth. During Mr. Anderson's tenure, Palo Alto Networks grew to become one of the largest security companies in the world. Before Palo Alto Networks, Mr. Anderson led worldwide sales activities at F5 Networks and was instrumental in the GTM success and growth in the Application Delivery Controller marketplace.
