Bands Poised to Rock London, Paris and Hamburg for the Official Launch of Renaissance Hotel's RLife LIVE in Europe

LONDON, July 10, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- RLife LIVE, Renaissance Hotels' global music and entertainment platform, will officially launch in Europe today with a series of free live performances from today's rising stars and hottest up-and-coming musical talent.  Renaissance Hotels in London, Paris and Hamburg will welcome 'Best Band in the House' finalists to the stage, as well as urban soul singer of the moment, Maverick Sabre, for special performances to mark the occasion.

Launched in 2010, RLife LIVE (www.RLifeLive.com) provides hotel guests and local patrons the chance to discover and engage with musical talent on-site at Renaissance Hotels around the world. The unforgettable interactions vary from acoustic performances, listening parties, unexpected DJ sets, post-concert events and meet and greet opportunities that go beyond a quick photo or autograph signing.  Renaissance Hotels have hosted an eclectic fleet of emerging artists on the verge of superstardom, including Bruno Mars, Janelle Monae and Robyn.

Always with a finger on the pulse of the music industry, Renaissance Hotels launched the 'Best Band in the House' competition together with MTV EMA in March this year to find Europe's hottest new musical talent.  The finalists performing at the launch events fought off stiff competition from 640 other hopefuls, and survived a panel selection and public vote.  After 23,962 votes counted and verified, the finalists are:

France: The Bliss, performing at Renaissance Paris Le Parc Trocadero on 10th July

United Kingdom: Dead on TV, performing at St Pancras Renaissance, London, on 12th July

Germany: The Jabs, performing at Renaissance Hamburg on 19th July

Also performing at St Pancras Renaissance on 12th July is headline act and rising star Maverick Sabre.  Dubbed 'one to watch' in 2011, Maverick Sabre's gold-selling debut album 'Lonely Are The Brave' propelled him into mainstream consciousness. Possessing a gritty yet soulful voice, Maverick's modern twist on a vintage sound resonates with audiences. Recent sold-out shows at Koko and The Roundhouse have seen Maverick Sabre become an essential live act.
