Bradley International Airport Contracts for PASSUR Solutions
STAMFORD, Conn., Feb. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- PASSUR Aerospace, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PSSR) announced today that it has contracted with the Connecticut Department of Transportation (ConnDOT) to provide its flight operations data feed for Bradley International Airport. The information will be integrated into the airport's new Noise Operations Monitoring System (NOMS).
The PASSUR flight operations data feed will ensure that the most accurate information about individual flights, the airspace, aircraft routing and the airport configuration are flowing through its noise system.
"We are pleased to welcome Bradley International Airport to the family of airport customers who are turning to PASSUR to address some of their most critical business processes," said Jim Barry, President and CEO of PASSUR Aerospace. "These are airports who have understood that they need access to their own state-of-the-art business intelligence data and software to support independent analysis and action."
The PASSUR Noise Management Program
Airports want to work with their aircraft operators and their communities to provide a safe and efficient airport environment while minimizing the impact of aircraft noise. Important to a comprehensive noise management program is accurate, timely information that provides a complete picture of the operating environment as well as comprehensive analytical capabilities to not only report on noise activities but also to identify patterns to improve aircraft routes and airport efficiencies while further minimizing environmental impact. The PASSUR flight operations data feed for noise operations monitoring systems (FlightSure(TM)) is built on the same proprietary radar network, aviation database, and business intelligence engines which support our airport operations, financial and collaborative decision-making software. Over 20 airports use the PASSUR flight operations data feed for their NOMS.
PASSUR Airport Operations Solutions
The PASSUR Airport Operations Program provides airport ramp tower, operations and communication centers the alerts, decision support, planning and analysis tools they need to run a more efficient and safe operation, and the web platform for cost-effective communication, coordination and collaboration with all the airport's key constituencies. It includes modules for field condition reporting/eNOTAM integration; mitigation of DOT extended tarmac delays; live dashboards of key operations metrics; and flight and airspace visualization. A recent study on the financial impact of the Field Condition Report module alone shows annual savings to carriers, per airport, ranging from $1.1MM (small airports), $4.3MM (medium airports), and $12MM (large airports). A study of PASSUR Airport Ramp Tower solutions shows additional annual savings to carriers, per airport, ranging from $2.3MM (small airports), $4MM (medium airports), and $6.8MM (large airports).
