Ecology Center, a non-profit organization behind the website Healthystuff.org, tested a range of seats for everything from hazardous flame retardants, chlorine, lead to heavy metals, many of which have been linked to serious health and developmental problems. This year, the Britax Marathon ClickTight car seat ranked at the top – consistent with results from 2015 that also included the Britax Frontier harness-2-booster and Parkway belt-positioning booster.
