DOVER, N.J., Oct. 31, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- This October, Casio America, Inc., a leading innovator of electronic musical instruments, is thrilled to highlight the very talented Jonatha Brooke as part of its Artist Program. Casio's Artist Program looks to help both aspiring and established musicians by providing multiple levels of support including the best tools available to musicians, allowing them to easily fulfill their love and passion for music.
"We couldn't be happier that Jonatha loves using Casio's keyboards to create and share her music," said Stephen Schmidt, Vice President of Casio's Electronic Musical Instruments Division. "Her ever-expanding talent and dedication to our brand make her a perfect fit for Casio's Artist Program and we are so happy we can provide her with the finest keyboard technology."
Jonatha Brooke currently owns two Casio keyboards that have become a staple in all that she does musically. In particular, while writing at home or on the road touring for her critically acclaimed one woman, Off-Broadway show My Mother Has Four Noses, Brooke prefers to use Casio's Celviano AP-650. This month, Brooke debuted her new album, Midnight. Hallelujah., which was composed on her Casio keyboard and is available now through Brooke's website and Amazon.com. While on the road touring for all other musical performances, Brooke prefers to use Casio's Privia PX-360 to practice and perform.
"When I first started using Casio's keyboards in 2013, I fell in love with them right away and I have not found a better feel or sound," said Brooke. "Both my Privia and Celviano are a big part of making my shows sound great. They are incredible instruments and a true inspiration for me as a songwriter."
Brooke has been writing songs, making records and touring since the early 1990s. After four major label releases, she started her own independent label, Bad Dog Records, in 1999. Since then, Brooke has released eight more albums and also co-wrote songs with Katy Perry for her album PRISM. Brooke is also currently developing another musical with playwright Geoffrey Nauffts, who writes for the hit show Nashville.
Brooke is part of the current roster of Casio artists including Tom Brislin, Kyle Morrison, Eldar Djangirov, Steve Weingart and more. For additional information about Casio's Artist Program or portfolio of electronic musical instruments, please visit www.CasioMusicGear.com.
