CEVA and VWorks Announce Availability of Virtual Prototyping Platforms featuring CEVA DSPs

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., June 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CEVA, Inc. (NASDAQ: CEVA), the leading licensor of silicon intellectual property (SIP) platform solutions and DSP cores for the mobile, portable and consumer electronics markets, and ASTC's VWorks™ group, delivering solutions for virtual prototyping, today announced the availability of virtual platforms based on CEVA's industry-leading CEVA-X and CEVA-XC DSP families, dramatically reducing customers' embedded software development time. The virtual platforms are already in use with a leading baseband vendor to aid the design of their LTE modems.

As part of the collaboration, CEVA DSP Processor Support Models have been integrated with the VLAB SystemC virtual platform simulation environment, providing performance and direct DSP software debug capability. Software and services will be provided by VWorks.
