(NYSE: CHH), one of the world's leading hotel companies, announced the addition of the Hotel North Woods in Lake Placid, the Crown Jewel of the Adirondack's High Peaks Region, to its rapidly expanding and distinguished list of unique upscale, boutique properties. The hotel is located at 2520 Main St, Lake Placid, New York and is the only lodging property in Lake Placid where you can see all five Olympic venues from the past two Winter Olympic Games that were hosted there.

The location of the 92-room Hotel North Woods is ideal for travelers visiting Lake Placid, one of the oldest vacation destinations in the United States. The hotel is located in the heart of Main Street within two blocks of the Olympic Center, providing easy access to shopping, restaurants, parking, the Mirror Lake Beach, and the various events Lake Placid hosts throughout the year. Hotel North Woods comes with a rich history, dating back to the nineteenth century. C.W. Kenney built a small hotel, the Northwoods Inn, on his property in 1897 when Lake Placid was just beginning to become a tourist destination appreciated for its natural beauty.
