ROCKINGHAM, N.C., Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- It was announced today that Iron Horse Auction Company, Inc. has been contracted by the Estate of the Late Catherine A. Pickler to sell her colonial style home & local antique furnishings.

The late Ms. Pickler was well known in Stanly County for her rich love and appreciation of local history.  She and her late husband, Reade Pickler, acquired many antiques and civil war letters that will be offered at auction on October 23rd on the front lawn of their colonial style home, which is also up for bid.  "My parents knowledge and love of history are evident from the moment you see this beautifully restored colonial home and it's furnishings," Anne Obeck, Daughter & Executrix of the Catherine Pickler Estate says.
