新澤西州恩格爾伍德崖2022年1月27日 /美通社/ -- 今日,Dove 發表新的身體研究調查報告「Dove 2021 年 CROWN 女童研究調查」,顯示黑人女童在學校受到頭髮歧視的比例及自年幼開始的程度,情況令人震驚。作為該品牌透過《皇冠法案》(即:為天然的髮型創造一個受尊重及開放的世界)立法結束基於種族的頭髮歧視的持續承諾的一部分,該研究顯示,53% 的黑人母親的女兒經歷過頭髮歧視,她們說其女兒早在 5 歲時就經歷過歧視,大約 86% 經歷過歧視的黑人青少年在 12 歲時就忍受過歧視。

研究方法
2021 年 Dove CROWN 女童研究調查由 JOY Collective 進行。這是一間由黑人女性擁有的公司,在 2021 年 7 月至 8 月間進行調查,以評估頭髮歧視對於年幼黑人女童在其成年前在自尊方面的影響。

1,000 名 5-18 歲女童在美國完成網上問卷調查,包括 500 名黑人女童及 500 名白人女童。調查對象包括自然混合在黑人為主學校、多種族學校及白人為主學校上學的黑人女童。調查包括有關性格描述、學校存在偏見的情況、學校頭髮政策、頭髮偏見的影響,以及 1954 年 Doll Test(娃娃測驗)的複製問題。所有數據均已於 95% 置信水平檢測。
