NEW YORK, Oct. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- E-J Electric Installation Co. completes the base building infrastructure for John F. Kennedy International Airport's (JFK) new pet, livestock and zoo animal terminal called "The ARK."

The scope of work provided by the E-J Electric team includes 5KV primary service, the installation of 3,000-amp distribution service and panels, the building-wide fire alarm system and site lighting throughout.

The ARK
This state-of-the art terminal totals 178,000 square-feet. For the ultimate comfort and security of the animals, it is equipped with customized departure lounges, around-the-clock medical care, spa pampering and high-end electronics. The ARK will also provide transportation in dedicated climate-controlled vehicles to and from aircraft, terminals, cargo facilities and other airport locations.
