Farmers Insurance® Names Insurance IT Executive, Paul Wilson, New Chief Information Officer

WOODLAND HILLS, Calif., Aug. 21, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Farmers Insurance^®, one of the nation's largest insurer groups, named Paul Wilson, an insurance and IT professional with nearly 30 years of insurance knowledge and leadership experience, its new chief information officer effective August 30, 2018.

In his role at Farmers^®, Wilson will serve as a member of the insurer group's senior leadership team and oversee the development and application of all strategic IT initiatives.

Wilson joins Farmers from Westfield Insurance, where he served as Group IT Leader and Chief Information Officer. Prior to Westfield, Wilson was with Progressive Casualty Insurance for nearly 28 years, serving in a variety of technology and business-related roles, most recently as a key IT applications executive leading Claims, Personal Lines, Commercial Lines and Corporate IT functions.
