Appoints Maen Hussein, MD Medical Director of Value-Based Care

FORT MYERS, Fla., Jan. 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC (FCS) is pleased to announce the appointment of medical oncologist and hematologist Maen Hussein, MD as Medical Director of Value-Based Care for the statewide practice. Dr. Hussein will oversee the ongoing development of value-based care initiatives to continuously improve patient outcomes while managing costs effectively. Dr. Hussein joined FCS in 2011 and provides oncology care to patients at the FCS Villages Cancer Center and FCS Brownwood location.

His work has been published and presented in prestigious industry publications and symposiums. Dr. Hussein serves as President of the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology (FLASCO) board of directors. Additionally, he is member of the board of directors and immediate past chair of the FCS Foundation.
