Former VISA SVP of Finance Joins DocuSign's Finance Team

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- DocuSign, Inc. (DocuSign®) announced today that Samir Salvi has joined the company as head of global financial planning and analysis (FP&A), reporting to CFO Mike Dinsdale. Samir has a strong history of financial leadership success, most recently serving as SVP of Global FP&A at VISA, Inc. Samir brings more than 15 years of experience in FP&A, strategy consulting and product management to his new role at DocuSign.

Samir joins DocuSign following seven years at VISA where he served most recently as SVP of finance. During his tenure at the company, Samir oversaw global teams and headed FP&A responsibilities for VISA's global businesses, including more than $12B in annual revenue and multi-billion dollar annual spend. Samir provided decision support to VISA's president and CFO for defining strategic objectives and setting operating plans and budgets while acting as financial steward for the company's innovation initiatives including VISA Checkout, Mobile Payments, Loyalty and Processing Services. Before VISA, Samir served as a consultant at McKinsey & Company and in product management at i2 Technologies. Samir earned his B.S. from the University of Mumbai and holds a Master's degree in chemical engineering from UC Davis.
