LUTZ, Fla., Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The NEO™ Personality Inventory-3 (NEO™-PI-3), an update to the standard questionnaire of the Five-Factor Model of personality, is now available. The NEO-PI-3 assesses the five major domains of personality (Neuroticism, Extraversion, Openness, Agreeableness, and Conscientiousness). The five domain scales, along with 30 facet scales, help to facilitate a comprehensive and detailed assessment of general personality.
The NEO-PI-3 features new normative data, separate adolescent and adult norms, revised Profile Forms, and the introduction of several items that were created to better enable clinicians to provide feedback to respondents.
Now updated to be applicable to a wider age range, the NEO-PI-3 is appropriate for use with adolescents as young as 12 years, but retains the reliability and validity of the previous version of the measure, the NEO Personality Inventory-Revised (NEO PI-R™). The NEO PI-R is still available.
A shortened 60-item version of the NEO-PI-3, the NEO™ Five-Factor Inventory-3 (NEO™-FFI-3), has also been introduced.
